| The MacDonald Family This photo was found amongst my grandmother's things following her death in May 2001. On the back it was labeled "Taken right after Grandma MacDonald's funeral" (i.e., Lovina Bergey McDonald, died 1897). The names of people in the photo were listed on the back as below.
Back row: "Bell" (Isabella McDonald Powers); "Minna" (Armina McDonald Wood); Ida (Ida McDonald Jewett); Flora (Florence McDonald Kingsland); Susie (Susan Stewart McDonald; Will's wife); Claud (son of Will and Susie); Lillie (Miller MacDonald; George's wife) Middle row: Fred w/Clyde (Isabella's husband Frederick Powers, and son); Harry w/Fern (Minna's husband Harry Sutton Wood and daughter); Angus Sr. (Grandpa Mac); Angus McDonald; Will McDonald; George MacDonald Front row: Clara (daughter of Isabella and Fred Powers); Will (son of Minna and Harry Wood); Chester (son of Isabella and Fred Powers); Floyd (son of Flora and William Kingsland); Stanley (Wood; son of Minna and Harry); Mabelle (daughter of George and Lillie); Harry (son of George and Lillie) The McDonald siblings were: Isabella, Armina, Ida, Flora, William, Angus Jr., and George. Their parents were Angus Sr. and his wife Lavina (Bergey) McDonald. My g-g-grandfather George spelled the name MacDonald. |
