Annie and George were the first two children born to Hannah and Charles Miller. Shortly after Annie was born in Indiana, the family moved to the Cherry Grove area of Cadillac. Their son George Washington was born soon after they moved to the area.

Unfortunately, both children died within a month of each other not long afterward. The cause of death was Lung Fever (believed to be pneumonia). Annie died on April 14, 1872, and George on May 10, 1872.

We believe this photo is of Annie and George, since the baby is a boy (his hair was parted in the middle which was the fashion for boys at that time). It was found alongside the photos of Hannah and Charles.
